Fascination of Plants Day

Together with the Vienna Open Lab, the GMI is opening its doors to the public in the framework of the Fascination of Plants Day on May 18th and 22nd. Through a diverse program consisting of hands-on activities for the whole family and a movie night, we aim to share why we find plants to be the amazing organisms that they are.

All events are free of charge, held in German and take place in Dr. Bohr-Gasse 3.

For reservations for the following programs please call 01/790 44 4591:

• KIDS & FAMILIES // May 18th at 1530 and May 22nd at 1615 – 2 h workshop for kids starting at the age of 8 (adults are welcome too); in the lab, young visitors explore how seeds know when to germinate and then they make their own „seed bombs“ which they can take home.

• GMI-MOVIE-NIGHT // May 22nd, 1830 to 2000 – Two episodes of the Arte-documentary „Geheimnisvolle Pflanzen“; popcorn and drinks will be provided!
